comics n' stuff:

Dresden Codak - had a spurt of storyline which recently elevated the comic from comedic one shots to more of an epic, though now that the author has found success his update frequency has slowed down to allow more detail and perfection in the strips following the Hob story arc.
Nobody Scores! - summarizes itself using only the title! Four main characters and to a lesser extent a few recurring minor characters live their serial lifespans in a comic where they absolutely cannot win as if it were a physical law. They simply cannot score. They die trying, only to return perfectly alive in the next installment. Humor!
Questionable Content - so, what net-tard doesn't have this drivel bookmarked? They, and I, read it because it's consistent and generally dependable for a quick laugh, which is a simple alternative to an entire page of syndicated newspaper comics. Also, if it matters to you at all, it's indie. That's basically its entire selling point. Oh, and sentient computers who troll twitter and post hentai links categorized as extreme.

Bonus Stage - now that the original site is gone and the flash files with it, someone pretending to be Matt Wilson has put every episode on youtube so us jerkfaces can still watch what is probably one of the longest running webtoons ever. It's unpredictable. You won't even see the jokes coming till they hit you. In the balls. Of fury.

Brackenwood.

Taking memes back.
Hyakko isn't such a bad series for a light comedy.

Spookey probably still has the best video ever.

science and biology:

why don't you take your kids to see the monkeys? .. no, maybe not. Primates are so hilariously unpredictable!

hooray for soft robots! Can you imagine the possibility of building an artificial heart? One more step towards cyborgs!

the real life drinky crow! ..you know, maakies reference? .. uh.. YOU KNOW?
forget you. come on, even SNL tried to run Tony Millionaire shorts for a season and you don't know. Well, at least there's a Drinky Crow show now. It's pretty good!

gorillas may not have linguistic or intellectual capacities greater than a child,
but they may have emotional capacities that we humans tend to forget about as we deforest their home environments.

of course, if you were a fish, would you be able to think or feel,
or are you just a breathing, eating, reproducing organism?..

oh, the humanity:

I love Bill O'Reilly! I also love sarcasm! Can't get enough of it!
If only warfare was fought using legos.

Some of the cranks these people make are hilarious.
Tiddy Bears? .. seriously, these made it onto aired television? Yep, apparently they're real! Say it again!

despite having possibly the most coherent randomly-generated tag I've ever seen on youtube, this documentary of the Kon-Tiki expedition is quite amazing.
